Job summary

The Hershey Company is hiring a Platform Engineer, Data & Analytics Platforms to operate and improve enterprise data platforms that power Hershey’s data products. You will standardize environments, automate delivery, and improve reliability for Data Product teams across development, test, and production.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python and SQL for automation and troubleshooting
• Experience with Databricks and Azure data services
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)

Responsibilities

• Own and operate core data platform components across development, test, and production
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and environment standardization
• Implement observability and runbooks for proactive incident response
• Manage identity/access controls and secrets in partnership with Security
• Plan platform releases and coordinate communications to minimize disruption
• Enable MLOps patterns in collaboration with Data Science teams
• Provide governance, security, and cost transparency for the data platform
• Monitor health, resolve incidents, and report KPIs
