Job summary

The Hershey Company seeks a Staff Data Engineer, MLOps to lead the design, build, and optimization of a scalable ML operations platform. You will own infrastructure, tooling, and automation enabling data science and AI teams to develop, deploy, monitor, and govern models at enterprise scale on Azure and Databricks.

Qualifications

• Experience taking ML models from experimentation to production.
• Proficiency with Azure and Databricks services.
• Experience with ML frameworks and API development.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the end-to-end MLOps platform on Azure and Databricks.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for model training, validation, packaging, and deployment.
• Implement model serving patterns (batch, real-time, edge) with blue-green/canary deployments.
• Build monitoring frameworks for data drift, concept drift, and prediction quality; automate alerts.
• Enforce model versioning, lineage, artifact management, and audit trails.
• Partner with data scientists to productionize models and document platform on-boarding.
