Wayve is hiring in Sunnyvale for a role within the AI Platform that powers data curation, evaluation, and training for our autonomous driving foundation models. You will build scalable data pipelines, evaluation tooling, and training infrastructure used across Science, Autonomy, and Evaluation teams.

Qualifications

• Strong production software engineering experience, particularly in Python services, APIs, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with batch and streaming pipelines, orchestration (Flyte, Airflow, Dagster, etc.), and distributed processing (Spark, PySpark, Ray, Databricks).
• Solid CS fundamentals and several years of production experience; able to design scalable systems.
• Track record of shipping, testing, observability, and on-call readiness for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Build systems to turn world-scale driving data into high-signal training data and evaluate/train foundation models.
• Replace ad-hoc scripts with self-serve, observable products used across teams.
• Support every model Wayve ships with platform infrastructure and tooling.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to deploy research at automaker scale (Nissan, Stellantis, Uber).
• Own platform ownership (TC3/TC4) and influence technical direction as the platform matures.
