Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer for its Model Development Platform in Sunnyvale, CA. You will design, build, and operate applications that support the development and testing of autonomous driving models across data, training, scheduling, evaluation, and on-road testing.

You’ll own significant technical areas, create scalable web apps and backend services, and mentor peers while delivering high-quality production code.

Qualifications

• Full-stack engineering across frontend and backend to build production web applications.
• Strong understanding of system design, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience delivering features from design through deployment and production operation.
• Experience leading technical discussions and mentoring other engineers.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end platform capabilities for model development workflows from design to deployment.
• Build scalable, secure, reliable, observable services and APIs.
• Shape system design and technical direction, balancing delivery speed with maintainability.
• Lead hands-on contributions while mentoring junior engineers and guiding code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Research, Operations, and Design to align stakeholders.
