Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Data Engineer for the Data Platform to build and operate data capabilities across the organization. You will develop ingestion pipelines, transformations, data models, and curated data products in a modern cloud data platform focused on Snowflake and dbt.

You will support data from Salesforce, Hatch, NetSuite, Signal, and approved APIs, making data available for analytics, automation, and AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
• Production-quality SQL and Python experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve data ingestion pipelines from enterprise systems, APIs, and approved sources.
• Follow the AI SDLC by using approved AI coding tools and agents to generate, refactor, explain, and review code.
• Use AI to generate and improve unit, integration, and data-quality tests and verify automated tests.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data-product documentation, runbooks, lineage notes, and change summaries with AI-assisted workflows.
