Community-Resource-Credit-Union in Baytown, TX seeks a Data Engineer to own the organization’s enterprise data platform from ingestion to trusted reporting. You will build a centralized data warehouse and enable modern dashboard reporting using SSRS/PowerBI/Tableau and other tools.

Reporting to the VP of IT, you will drive data lifecycle management, collaborate with analysts, and leverage AI to accelerate delivery while ensuring governance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Five to eight years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science, or relevant financial field or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with Python or R.
• Experience building data pipelines and data warehouses across multiple systems.
• Exposure to cloud or modern platforms (Azure, Fabric, Snowflake, etc.).
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve development speed or quality.

Responsabilidades

• Data Platform Ownership: Creates and implements a new data warehouse and replaces manual reporting with structured datasets.
• ETL Development: Builds robust data pipelines and cleans data to ensure consistency and usability.
• Dashboard Development: Designs datasets and semantic models for modern dashboards and guides analysts.
• AI Program Lead: Measures adoption, communicates progress, and promotes responsible AI use with governance in mind.
• AI Driven Development: Uses AI to accelerate pipeline development, query optimization, and documentation.
• Data Governance & Data Quality: Ensures data accuracy and supports regulatory compliance.
