Job summary

CME Group is seeking a hands-on technical product owner for its Data Services Catalog, driving onboarding across Real‑Time, Historical, and Delayed market data. You will own the roadmap, translate client feedback into requirements, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver robust data delivery and secure access.

Qualifications

Data-driven problem solving and ability to work with complex user problems.
Experience with metadata/catalog frameworks, data product schemas, and APIs.
Experience coordinating with external vendors and cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong SQL skills and ability to derive insights from telemetry.
Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years in product management or related roles.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the 0–12 month roadmap for market data distribution platforms.
Manage external CME Group data marketplace performance and roadmaps.
Build internal metadata catalog and schema registries for product discovery and interoperability.
Deliver front-end onboarding experience and define API specs, data payload formats, and distribution protocols.
Collaborate with Licensing and Sales to structure data access models and pricing.
