Job Summary:

The Data Platform & Analytics Manager is responsible for managing a team of experienced data engineers, scientists, and analysts. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquiring resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides vision, oversight, and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. This is an onsite role in our office in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in data engineering, data science, analytics, or cloud data platform development
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in leading technical teams
• Deep understanding of data modeling, metadata management, lineage, and governance frameworks
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Azure Synapse, Purview, Databricks, or equivalent platforms
• Background supporting analytics, BI, and ML workloads
• Experience designing scalable systems for both real-time and batch workloads
• Strong communication skills; ability to lead design sessions and mentor engineering teams
• Experience in aerospace or other regulated industries is a plus
