Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a data integration engineer to design and maintain enterprise data pipelines, enabling efficient data flow from generation to analysis. You will partner with scientists to build pipelines from ELN to analysis tools and develop real-time Power BI dashboards for monitoring trends.

The role requires 2–4 years of CS/Data Science-focused experience, strong SQL/Python skills, and a drive to learn new technologies in a collaborative team environment.

• Proficient in data pipeline development and management.
• Proficient in SQL/Python and JSON/JavaScript.
• Proficient in VBA, Power Queries, and Power BI.
• Experience with data security.
• Understanding data visualization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience with CS/Data Science focus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain workflows for automated data retrieval, parsing, and uploading into ELNs from equipment and other sources.
• Build data pipelines from ELN to data analysis tools like JMP and Spotfire.
• Create data visualization dashboards for real-time analysis in Power BI.
• Document workflows and train team members on scripts, queries, and processes.
• Support development, alignment, and training of ELN framework across teams.
• Help establish an inventory system for tracking test samples, media preparations, and product.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data management with team members.
• Collaborate with scientists to leverage AI/ML models to detect trends in data.
