Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytics and data science workloads. This hands-on role requires strong SQL and Python ETL skills and cloud experience to deliver scalable data solutions.

You will contribute to modeling the Core Data Domain, collaborate with data scientists and analysts, ensure data quality and governance, and mentor junior engineers while partnering with product owners.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and ability to develop complex queries.
• Hands-on Python experience with ETL pipelines.
• Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance best practices and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data models and schemas for analytics and ML.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and transform large datasets.
• Optimize performance via partitioning and clustering to reduce costs.
