Job summary

Palmetto Goodwill is seeking a Data & Payroll Coordinator to support the SCSEP program. You will enter and update participant records in GPMS, run payroll and program reports, and ensure onboarding documents and background checks are completed accurately.

You will upload data into SAGE, submit background checks, and maintain payroll records with ADP. Strong detail orientation and collaboration across departments are essential for success in this grant-funded role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements: Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent; or a high school graduate with 5+ years payroll processing experience.
  • Experience inputting SCSEP participant records into HR systems.
  • Payroll processing and General Ledger experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and update SCSEP participant and Host Agency information in GPMS promptly.
  • Run reports in GPMS and report findings to the Program Manager.
  • Ensure onboarding paperwork and background checks are completed properly.
  • Upload onboarding information into SAGE and submit background checks to Safety for SCSEP enrollments.
  • Maintain database(s) of personnel information and accurate payroll records.
  • Collect, verify, and record SCSEP participant timecards.
  • Upload timecards into the ADP payroll system and key production sheets as needed.
  • Review payroll reports for accuracy and assist participants with pay verification.
  • Compile monthly In-Kind Hours and quarterly Community Service Hours reports.
  • Cooperate with departments to improve payroll service performance.
  • Maintain organized workspace and confidentiality per agency policies; perform other duties as assigned.

  • Key in production sheets for SCSEP participants as needed.
  • Review reports to ensure the accuracy of payroll.
  • Assist SCSEP participants with obtaining pay verification.

Requirements

This is a grant-funded position providing support for the Mission Services SCSEP Program. The Data & Payroll Coordinator will complete and input SCSEP participant personnel records into HR system. Collect, input, and process the biweekly payroll of SCSEP participants. Maintain SCSEP database and data entry.

Education and Experience

Minimum requirements are an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Certificate of Higher Education in Accounting, or High School graduate with at least five years’ experience in payroll processing and General Ledger.

Physical Demands

While performing these job duties, the employee is regularly required to: talk and/or hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
