Job summary

Chase is seeking a senior data governance lead to implement strategic data solutions across the Consumer & Community Banking division. You will partner with analytics stakeholders, manage data quality, and ensure compliance with data protection, retention, and usage policies.

Responsibilities include leading data publishing initiatives, curating datasets for analytics, and collaborating with engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industry experience in a data-related field; Bachelor's degree required
• Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines
• Advanced SQL proficiency (complex joins, window functions, CTEs) for data exploration, profiling, reconciliation
• Hands-on data testing experience designing validation frameworks and evidence
• 5+ years in data management/governance, with cloud platforms and big data tech
• Experience developing roadmaps and cloud-based data lake/warehouse solutions
• Proven track record of data governance methods to reduce risk and ensure data usage
• Exceptional ability to communicate with cross-functional teams clearly and confidently
• Experience applying agile practices with technology scrum teams to translate requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic plans to deliver data solutions and products
• Provide SME expertise on data content and use within the product
• Identify critical data scope and document with metadata
• Collaborate with analytics to define data requirements for platforms
• Partner with stakeholders to define data product requirements
• Manage milestones, risks, and delivery lifecycle for data products
• Track KPIs and manage data-related workstreams
• Lead or matrix-manage staff on data tasks
• Use SQL and data tooling for data testing and validation
• Govern data integration into analytics platforms for advanced use cases
• Resolve data issues and drive corrective controls to prevent recurrence
• Leverage AI/ML tools to automate governance and data management
