Job summary

Chase is seeking a Data Owner Lead in the Card Data and Analytics Team to be accountable for all data in the Card product that is created, provisioned, or consumed to support business objectives, analytics, and reporting.

You will partner with the Product Owner, design lead, and technology lead to ensure data quality and compliance with data protection, retention, and governance requirements while coordinating data delivery across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industry experience in a data-related field; Bachelor's degree required
• Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines
• Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes and technical knowledge of data management, data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling, data architecture and governance
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google or Azure, and/or experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Snowflake
• Demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure our product and organization is on track to meet our goals
• Structured thinker with good business acumen and effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
• Understanding of Agile technological development methodology

Responsibilities

• Create plans for the development and delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, and metrics and reporting and work with key partners to drive an understanding of the data and its use within the business
• Identify the scope of critical data within their product, ensuring that the prioritized data is well-documented as to its meaning and purpose
• Support the aligned Data & Analytics lead for their product by identifying data required to be integrated into analytics platforms to support analytics projects and document requirements for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data within the product
• Coordinate resources to deliver data quality requirements
• Partner with business & analytics stakeholders to define requirements for new data products and collaborate with data engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions
• Develop processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks including data protection, retention and destruction, storage, use, and quality
• Manage execution of tasks to comply with Firmwide policies related to data integrity and protection, and build relationships with data delivery partners and consumers
• Track and manage workstreams and KPIs to ensure successful deliveries
• Manage direct or matrixed staff to execute data-related tasks
