Job summary

The role supervises data engineers, ETL specialists, and staff, ensuring data availability, performance, and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires two years of college in computer science and 4.5 years of technical experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required or equivalent.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and data quality checks.
• Knowledge of security controls and NIST-aligned practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for enterprise data operations including ingestion pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Supervise data operations engineers and ETL specialists; mentor staff and ensure staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with NIST-aligned security controls and governance policies; coordinate with cybersecurity teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated workflows and incident management.
• Lead automation, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives for data platforms.
