Qualifications

• Requires completion of two years of college with CS coursework and 4.5 years of technical experience including at least 1 year supervisory
• Demonstrated knowledge of data operations, security controls, and enterprise data handling
• Ability to supervise data engineers, ETL specialists, and support staff and coordinate with governance teams

Responsibilities

• Provides technical direction for enterprise data operations including ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and monitoring
• Supervises data operations staff and ensures staffing coverage for mission-critical operations
• Ensures compliance with NIST-aligned security controls and agency cybersecurity policies and standards
• Coordinates with Data Governance, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams on integrated workflows
• Leads automation, performance tuning, and documentation improvements for reliability and efficiency
• Performs other duties as assigned.
