Job summary

Bedrock Robotics Inc. seeks a Data Operations Lead to own ongoing data collection support for the fleet, ensuring terabyte-scale daily data volumes are collected, retained, and delivered.

You will define data collection strategies and oversee execution across multiple sites. You will build the data operations organization, set SLAs, monitor data yield, and collaborate with Engineering, ML, and Bedrock Intelligence to scale data infrastructure as the fleet expands.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in operations, field deployment, or program leadership.
• 3+ years leading distributed teams across multiple sites or regions.
• Experience managing non-exempt employees or contingent staff.
• Track record owning operational metrics for a physical fleet at scale, including SLA design.

Responsibilities

• Own data collection operations for the fleet ensuring terabyte-scale daily data volumes are produced and delivered.
• Lead field operations across Autonomous and Bedrock Intelligence machines at customer and internal standards.
• Define efficient data collection methods that enable engineers to access critical data.
• Prioritize data yield as an operational metric and close data loss gaps in the pipeline.
• Model economics of data operations, define SLAs, run simulations of network strategy and trade-offs.
• Oversee data pipeline offload, connectivity, storage, and handoff reliability.
