Brandes Investment Partners in San Diego, CA seeks a Data Office Director to lead enterprise data strategy and governance. The role reports to the Global Head of Operations and Technology, with a compensation range of $200k-$250k annually.

Responsibilities include building a modern data architecture, driving enterprise data governance, enabling self-service analytics, and advancing AI readiness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience for a CDO-level role; 5+ years for a Data & Analytics Manager-level role.
• Experience in asset management, financial services, or other highly regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a modern data architecture and operating model.
• Establish enterprise-wide data governance, stewardship, and quality frameworks.
• Drive self-service analytics and data literacy across the organization.
• Enable AI readiness and Microsoft Copilot adoption.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to unlock the value of trusted data.
• Define the roadmap for platforms including Snowflake, semantic models, and advanced analytics.
