Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Data Monitoring Supervisor to lead the data monitoring team, ensure timely data collection and reporting, and develop QA protocols. This on-site role collaborates with program staff and funders to maintain data integrity.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years in data monitoring or analytics, with supervisory experience and familiarity with HMIS/Clarity tools. VOALA offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• 3 years of experience in data monitoring/analysis with supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Public Administration, Statistics, or related field.
• Familiarity with HMIS, Adsystech, and Clarity programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee validation, cleaning, and analysis of program and operational data.
• Coordinate with program managers to ensure data integrity and compliance with reporting standards.
• Monitor performance indicators and generate dashboards/reports for internal and external use.
• Identify data trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
• Train staff on data entry procedures, monitoring tools, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to enhance data systems and tools.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.
• Support audits, evaluations, and external reviews with relevant data and documentation.
• Research best practices and run analyses to inform strategic planning.
