Motorola Solutions is seeking a data migration specialist to design, build, and maintain data migration and conversion tools. You will collaborate with customers and project teams to meet business objectives and end-user expectations, delivering reliable data solutions with strong QA and security practices.

The role requires hands-on development experience (C#, Python, SQL), and the ability to work onsite in the Chicagoland area, with travel across project phases as needed and CJIS security

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
• Technical/software development experience.
• Experience in software development; C#, XML, Python and .NET technologies.
• Hands-on SQL database design (MS SQL preferred, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Strong SQL query design and implementation skills.
• Understanding of object-oriented coding and design; participate in code reviews.
• Able to troubleshoot and debug issues.
• Support and triage issues with customer integration teams.
• Solid networking understanding.
• Ability to define and adjust the project's quality strategy.
• Experience evaluating software quality via tests and exploratory testing.
• Excellent written/verbal communication to summarize findings.
• Ability to work with CJIS/security requirements and customer contracts.
• Experience with Agile software development and project management is a plus.
