Job summary

Femwell Group Health is seeking an EHR Data Migration specialist to extract data from legacy EHRs and ancillary systems, transform it, and import it into the new go-forward EHRs. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail, plus experience with data mapping, testing, and ensuring data integrity during go-live. Hybrid rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate and some college or Informational technical education or demonstration of work experience.
• At least five to seven years of related experience.
• Three years of experience working with Python, Power BI, and other technology.
• Knowledge of HIPAA Security preferred.
• Hybrid rotation schedule and/or onsite as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide eCW software support by phone and remote access.
• Support EHR software/workflow for medical staff and document tickets.
• Liaise with eCW Support to resolve tickets and inquiries.
• Assist in implementing software upgrades.
• Maintain data integrity per EHR/IT protocols.
• Plan and execute data migrations from source EMR to Host EMR.

Job description

This role supports our clients by extracting data from previous EHRs and ancillary healthcare IT systems, transforming the data into new formats, and then importing the data into their new go forward EHRs. In addition to performing this technical work, the EHR Data Migration specialist will use their interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to work with various internal and external stakeholders and to drive each project toward completion.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide eCW software support through phone and remote connection


• Will conduct EHR software and workflow support to the medical staff and providers of practices, including documentation of ticket issues within our internal ticketing queue system


• Liaison to eCW Support and our associates to ensure that all open tickets, escalations, and inquiries are followed through and resolved for the medical practices


• Participate in implementation and transition to new software upgrades as needed


• Maintain system data integrity by strictly following EHR and IT protocols


• Maintain up to date with myeclinicalwork.com portal, webinars and eCW Days Conferences


• Plan and fully execute Data Migrations from source EMR to Host EMR


• Data mapping for Data Migrations


• Perform testing on new builds and applications during implementation and maintenance phases


• Data validation for Data Migrations


• Provide guidance and support during Go Live after migration into system to ensure a successful adaptation to our EMR


• Source EMR Contract termination
