Location – Remote/USA

The Data Migration Lead works as a team member for product implementation and integration projects. This individual operates under supervision to ensure successful implementation and satisfied clients with Sapiens software products. The Data Migration Lead is responsible for leading data migration projects to success, delivering within scope, timeline, and quality standards, with full customer satisfaction. This position works closely with the internal project team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead data migration projects to success, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality, with full customer satisfaction.
• Manage data migration of software packages.
• Oversee project budget and planning.
• Manage customer relationships and provide regular project updates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and client teams.
• Conduct project risk analysis and mitigation.
• Lead mapping and design sessions with customers.
• Support Business Analysts with migration mapping and transformation design.
• Handle migration development and QA activities.
• Work with business teams to ensure solutions meet operational and technical requirements.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Minimum 5 years of team management experience.
• At least 3 years leading full lifecycle data migration projects.
• Self-motivated and independent with leadership qualities.
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing projects in a matrix environment.
• Experience with ETL tools (Talend preferred).
• Knowledge of C++ (advantage).
• Expertise in SQL.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with Jira and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with insurance or financial services (advantage).
• Experience working with international clients.
• Additional language skills (advantage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
