Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a senior analytics professional to lead advanced analyses and build innovative models using large healthcare datasets. You will partner with data scientists, engineers, clinicians, and leaders to translate complex questions into practical analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.

Lauded for driving evidence-based decisions, this role advances enterprise reporting, population analytics, and healthcare market insights within the Evernorth Control Center suite.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in advanced analytics, healthcare data, reporting, or a related area.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working in large-scale data environments.
  • Experience using Python or another commonly used programming language for analysis.
  • Strong business analytics and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex questions into practical solutions.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to business, clinical, technical, and leadership audiences.
  • Experience collaborating across functions and contributing throughout the analytics solution lifecycle.

Job description

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, data science, mathematics, healthcare informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience with one or more enterprise data platforms, such as Databricks, Teradata, or Postgres.
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or Databricks Genie.
  • Knowledge of AI, large language models, agents, or other modern analytical technologies.
  • Experience applying analytics to healthcare data, patient populations, or healthcare market insights.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,700 - 161,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
