H Mart is seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist to drive data integrity and system optimization across our retail ecosystem. You will manage mid-complexity master-data operations, including new item creation, vendor onboarding, and catalog updates within our ERP system.

You will resolve data quality exceptions, lead cleanup initiatives end-to-end, and collaborate with Buying, SCM, Accounting, and IT to ensure downstream data reliability. Strong English and Korean skills are required.

Qualifications

• BA in Business Administration or similar preferred.
• 5-8 years of relevant master data experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).
• Experience leading small projects or workstreams.
• Proficiency in English and Korean (reading/writing/verbal).
• Retail, grocery, or wholesale distribution background is a plus.
• Experience with data-cleanup or migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute mid-complexity master-data work: new item setups, vendor onboarding, and category-wide updates.
• Investigate and resolve data-quality issues; coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead cleanup projects end-to-end and mentor junior staff.

H Mart is seeking an experienced Master Data Specialist to drive data integrity, system optimization, and cross-functional accuracy across our retail ecosystem. In this role, you will independently manage mid-complexity master data operations—including new item creation, vendor onboarding, and wide-scale catalog updates within our ERP system. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will resolve data quality exceptions, lead cleanup initiatives end-to-end, and collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure downstream data reliability.

Duties and Responsibility

• Independently execute mid-complexity master-data work: new item setups, vendor onboarding, category-wide pricing/attribute updates
• Investigate and resolve data-quality issues (duplicates, mismatches, missing fields); coordinate corrective actions
• Lead assigned cleanup projects (item consolidation, vendor setup, etc.) end-to-end
• Partner with Buying, SCM, Accounting and IT on data-request specifications and downstream impact
• Author and updates SOPs; propose process improvements and small automation ideas
• Mentor Associates and Coordinators; QC their work for accuracy

Education and Requirements:

• BA in Business Administration, Trade, Logistics or similar preferred
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Solid working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Experience leading small projects or workstreams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English and Korean (Reading, Writing, Verbal)
• Prior retail, grocery, or wholesale distribution experience
• Experience with data-cleanup or migration projects

Salary Range:

$65,000 ~ $79,050
