Job summary

Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) seeks a Data Manager to support our K-12 After-School programming by ensuring data is cleaned, organized, and compliant with HCZ/Promise Academy guidelines. The ideal candidate has strong data management and analytical skills, is familiar with database systems and Microsoft Excel, and is enthusiastic about community-based work.

The annual salary range is $45,000 - $50,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; must pass MS Excel test to demonstrate skill level
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; supervisory experience a plus
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a community-based environment
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other large data management systems

Responsibilities

• Ensure primary data systems and secondary systems are used to their full potential and support staff.
• Maintain data integrity across systems.
• Evaluate systems to identify missing information and propose solutions.
• Track student information with accessible, accurate records.
• Supervise Data Aides and support their growth.
• Review data life cycle for accuracy and completeness.
• Create spreadsheets to track attendance and progress toward goals.
• Generate site reports and analyze trends in participation and achievement.
• Share analysis with Directors to clarify focus areas.
• Identify data-driven strategies to improve program performance
