Data Manager – Data Governance & Analytics

Pay: $31.89/hour
Schedule: Full-time, potential for hybrid after training

Our client is seeking a Data Manager to support the collection, organization, quality, and management of data across a large public-sector program. This role will work closely with IT, analytics, business teams, government partners, insurance carriers, and outside vendors to make sure data is accurate, accessible, and useful for decision-making.

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with data from multiple sources, understands the importance of data quality and governance, and can serve as a knowledgeable resource for both technical and business teams.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the collection, management, organization, and storage of division data.

• Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

• Manage data validation, quality assurance, and data integrity processes.

• Help oversee databases, data storage systems, and integrations across the division.

• Collect, organize, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.

• Review data received from:

  • Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

  • State of Georgia agencies and offices

  • Insurance carriers

  • Agent organizations

  • External vendors and program partners

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the division’s data and reporting needs.

• Partner with IT, analytics, and business teams to improve data processes and systems.

• Identify data inconsistencies, gaps, or quality concerns and help determine appropriate solutions.

• Support leadership and business teams with reliable data used for reporting and decision-making.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to organize and interpret information from different systems and organizations.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data.

• Experience with healthcare, insurance, government, regulatory, or public-sector data is a plus.

• Experience working with CMS data or other federal/state government data sources is highly desirable.
