Responsibilities

• Deliver data management activity across a key MoJ service area, balancing daily priorities with longer-term improvements.
• Collaborate with operational, policy, digital, and analytical colleagues to embed data management in everyday work.
• Improve data quality, consistency, and trust through clear standards and governance approaches.
• Identify and manage critical data assets with clear ownership and accountability.
• Support development of data management products like data catalogs and metadata frameworks.
• Incorporate governance and risk management into routine processes and escalate issues when needed.
• Advocate for data literacy and capability-building across teams.
• Assist leadership in shaping priorities for future data management activity.
