Job summary

Moody's Corporation is offering a Data Management Internship to learn and contribute to data readiness initiatives across the organization. You will work with data managers and cross-functional partners to understand taxonomies, lineage, quality and governance, while applying approved AI tools with human oversight.

The role provides hands-on experience with data migration, documentation and AI-enabled workflows in an Agile, product-centric team environment.

Qualifications

Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in data management, information systems, computer science, business analytics, data science, statistics or related field.
Graduation date May 2028 – June 2029.
Availability to work June 7 – August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

Assist with data readiness initiatives by moving data from spreadsheets to structured databases.
Help inventory, organize, document, cleanse and validate data for digital and AI use cases.
Document data concepts, common reference data, business rules and data usage practices with partners.
Support data lineage and source-to-target mappings under guidance of data team members.
Contribute to data quality checks, issue tracking and basic reporting on data readiness.
