Job summary

Genius Road, LLC is seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Project Manager to lead data management delivery in an Agile environment from Dallas. You will own day-to-day execution of data initiatives, coordinate with data engineers, architects and engineers, and drive end-to-end planning, estimation and reporting.

The role emphasizes Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and strong collaboration with data teams. Hybrid work in Dallas, with a focus on delivering high-impact data transformation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager (not program manager) with direct ownership of delivery.
• 3+ years of Agile/Scrum in a hands-on role (Scrum Master responsibilities required).
• Experience with day-to-day execution: task tracking, sprint execution, resource coordination, issue resolution.
• Strong experience with Agile tools: Jira, Confluence.
• Experience with project estimation, planning, and scheduling.
• Ability to break down high-level requirements into detailed work plans.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of data-focused projects, including planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
• Act as Scrum Master and Project Manager, leading: Daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, Sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Manage detailed project plans, including task breakdowns, dependencies, and resource assignments.
• Drive accurate estimation and capacity planning with technical teams.
• Track and manage work in Jira and Confluence (hands-on, daily usage required).
• Identify and proactively resolve delivery risks, blockers, and dependenciesWork closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Provide clear, concise reporting to leadership, including executive-level updates.
