Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Low Voltage/Data Technician in Fort Wayne to install and service Access Control, Intercom, Intrusion and CCTV/IP camera systems, and to install and terminate network cabling and fiber optics.

You will configure IP devices, read blueprints and manuals, uphold safety standards, and coordinate with customers to maintain integrated building systems. With 3–5 years of field experience in low voltage, MS Office knowledge is a plus, and willingness to work extended hours

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of field experience in a low voltage industry.
• Hands-on system installation and commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word & other Microsoft Office products is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Installation and service of Access Control, Intercom, Intrusion and CCTV/IP camera systems.
• Install, terminate and repair network data cabling and fiber optic lines.
• Configure IP devices for device functionality.
• Maintain and adhere to the highest safe workplace standards.

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, and climb ladders when needed.

Havel is looking for a Low Voltage/Data Technician. In this position you will be performing work on Intrusion, Access Control, and CCTV systems along with the installation and termination of network data cabling and fiber optic lines.
