Job summary

Danta Technologies is seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer for an on-site, long-term role in Raritan, NJ. You will support insider risk monitoring, DLP policies, and data protection across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and endpoints.

The ideal candidate has a cybersecurity/data analytics background and hands-on experience with Boolean logic, Regex, and data classification. You will produce weekly risk snapshots for leadership and help optimize auto-labeling policies to protect

Qualifications

Boolean logic and Regular Expressions (Regex) to define sensitive data types.
Regular Expressions (Regex) to identify data types.
High level of discretion handling highly sensitive information.
Awareness of data sensitivity and protection requirements.

Responsibilities

Insider Risk (IRM) Monitoring: review anonymized alerts in Microsoft Purview IRM to identify patterns of data leaving the organization.
DLP Strategy & Policy: manage Data Loss Prevention for IRM and Data Protection offerings.
Optimize Auto-labeling policies that encrypt documents containing PII/PHI/IP.
Alert Correlation: use Content Explorer and Activity Explorer to investigate data sharing.
Create weekly Risk Snapshots for leadership showing trends in data exfiltration.
