Job summary

Danta Technologies in Raritan, NJ is seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer for an onsite, long-term position. Pay is $45/hr on W2 or $50/hr on C2C.

Key duties include monitoring insider risk, managing DLP policies, and generating weekly risk snapshots for leadership. Ideal candidate has a cybersecurity or data analytics background, strong regex skills, and experience with Microsoft 365 core components.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Behavioral Science, Data Analytics, or Information Systems, or six years of hands-on experience.
• Analytical logic and Regular Expressions (Regex) to define sensitive data types.
• Microsoft 365 Core: navigate the M365 ecosystem and data flow.
• Discretion and integrity handling highly sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Insider Risk Monitoring: review anonymized alerts to identify patterns of data leaks.
• DLP Strategy & Policy: manage Data Loss Prevention for IRM and protection offerings.
• Auto-labeling: optimize policies that encrypt documents with PII, PHI, or IP.
• Alert Correlation: use Content Explorer and Activity Explorer to investigate sharing.
• Create weekly Risk Snapshots for leadership showing trends in data exfiltration.
