Job summary

Systematix is looking for Data Security Engineers - DLP & Insider Threat to support implementation, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data-protection controls for key clients. The roles are remote and aligned to Eastern Time Zone business hours, beginning as soon as possible with potential extension through 2026.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with data security, DLP, and insider threat.
• Experience testing and validating data-security policies.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, CrowdStrike, and DSPM tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Data Security, Data Loss Prevention, and Insider Threat controls.
• Test and validate DLP and Insider Threat policies within Microsoft Purview, CrowdStrike, and DSPM platforms.
• Collaborate with DSPM technologies such as Varonis or BigID.
• Develop structured test scenarios and validation approaches for data-security policies and controls.
• Evaluate policy behavior across users, data types, applications, and business scenarios.
• Collect, consolidate, tabulate, and analyze security and policy-testing data.
• Use advanced Excel capabilities to analyze results and support reporting.
• Develop and use regular expressions to support data identification and policy logic.
• Identify false positives/negatives and gaps in security policies.
• Document testing methodologies, results, issues, and remediation activities.
