Job summary

Moog seeks a Data Loss Prevention Analyst to lead and continually improve the enterprise DLP program across email, endpoints, browsers, cloud, and AI platforms in a hybrid Buffalo, NY environment.

You will monitor alerts, investigate data leakage events, produce monthly leadership reports, and work with Cyber Security, IT, Legal, Compliance, HR, and business teams to enforce data protection standards and drive risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cyber security, computer science, information assurance, or related field preferred.
• Experience investigating security alerts, incidents, or potential data leakage events.
• Familiarity with DLP technologies and controls across Email, Browser, Endpoint, CASB, Cloud, and AI Governance platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals including access controls, security monitoring, incident response, risk management, and data protection principles.
• Understanding of data classification, information handling requirements, confidentiality obligations, and information protection best practices.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, assess risk, and communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the enterprise DLP program and policies.
• Monitor and investigate DLP alerts and incidents across email, endpoint, browser, cloud, and AI platforms.
• Tune and optimize DLP controls to improve detection and reduce operational impact.
• Produce monthly DLP reporting detailing trends, policy effectiveness, and risk indicators.
• Collaborate with IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Compliance, HR, and business units to investigate data leakage events and support remediation.
