Job summary

Future Technologies Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Data Link Analyst to support interoperability testing for M&S tools and conduct advanced TDL engineering, analysis and simulation. You will help plan test events, develop procedures, operate simulators, and document results to ensure system conformance.

Responsibilities include conducting real-time and post-test analysis, supporting the user community, and maintaining lab environments. A security clearance may be required for certain roles.

Data Link Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to, supporting and identifying interoperability requirements and testing methodologies to ensure all M&S tools maintain interoperability standards. This position requires the training, skills and experience necessary to conduct advanced tactical data link engineering, analysis and simulation systems operations. The candidate will support all aspects of testing Naval tactical systems and tactical data link (TDL) capabilities of C4ISR and weapon systems, to include SSDS and LCS interfaces, Link 16, Link 11multilink data forwarding, and JREAP-C. Support includes planning for test events; Developing mission oriented and standards conformance test procedures based on the format and transactional requirements in applicable military standards; Operating simulators, link monitoring systems, and other test tools; Directing and/or supporting test conduct; Performing real-time and post-test analysis; And documenting test results.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 4 years’ relevant work experience or; an Associate’s Degree with 2 years’ relevant work experience
• Knowledge of tactical data link operations
• Knowledge of TDL message formats and protocols defined in MILSTD
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards
• Support a Lab environment
• Provide support to user community by responding to requests for technical assistance
• Support shift work
• Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Six (6) years Naval TDL experience, experience in operating simulation/tactical systems including but not limited to; WASP, OASIS, NGS, CCD, MLST3/TIGER, and CDLMS

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000.
