Young Moms Together seeks a Data, Learning, and Impact Manager to support implementation of the organization’s strategic plan through strong data systems, performance tracking, reporting, and continuous quality improvement. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this position plays a central role in aligning day-to-day program operations with strategic priorities, improving data quality and consistency, and building organizational capacity for learning, accountability, and decision-making.
The strategic plan calls for stronger operational infrastructure, KPI integration into core data systems, quarterly learning routines, and implementation support for key Year 1 priorities, including theSuccess Coaching Model,Housing Playbook,60-Day Transition Planning Tool,Consistency Framework, andYouth Career Pathways Dashboard. This role will help design and maintain the data, reporting, and evaluation practices needed to support those priorities.
Role and Responsibilities
Data Systems, Reporting, and Evaluation 50%
- Develop, maintain, and improve data collection tools, reporting templates, dashboards, and documentation systems that support organizational and programmatic goals.
- Support integration of defined KPIs intoextendedReach / Visit Trackerand other relevant systems to improve visibility into participant progress, program performance, and strategic implementation.
- Monitor data across multiple systems for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency, and ensure timely correction of identified issues.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for leadership, funders, and internal stakeholders related to program performance, implementation progress, and outcomes.
- Analyze trends and patterns in data to identify opportunities for improved program operations, participant outcomes, and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop practical tools to track implementation of key strategic plan priorities, including theSuccess Coaching Model,Youth Career Pathways Dashboard,Housing Playbook,60-Day Transition Planning Tool, and related program workflows.
- Maintain secure and organized program records, data files, and reporting systems in accordance with organizational standards and applicable requirements.
- Support the preparation of outcome summaries, performance reports, and other data-informed materials for internal planning and external reporting.
Continuous Quality Improvement and Strategic Implementation 30%
- Serve as a member of the Continuous Quality Improvement team and contribute to organization-wide review, reflection, and improvement processes.
- Coordinate and supportQuarterly Learning Reviewsto help teams assess progress, identify gaps, and use data to inform decision-making and practice improvements.
- Partner with the Chief of Staff and organizational leaders to translate strategic priorities into measurable indicators, implementation benchmarks, and reporting routines.
- Track progress on Year 1 strategic plan priorities and provide recommendations to strengthen execution, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.
- Help establish and reinforce systems that support greater consistency in implementation across teams, including tools aligned with theConsistency Frameworkand related operating practices.
- Identify operational, procedural, or reporting gaps that limit program effectiveness and recommend process improvements grounded in data and observed trends.
- Support a culture in which data is used not only for compliance, but also for learning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Training, Cross-Functional Support, and Administration 20%
- Train and support staff on data collection procedures, reporting expectations, system use, and data quality standards.
- Develop forms, SOPs, written guidance, and workflow tools to improve clarity, consistency, and ease of implementation across programs and departments.
- Collaborate with program, operations, and leadership staff to align reporting tools and practices with organizational goals and funder requirements.
- Attend and participate in meetings with staff, leadership, partners, vendors, and consultants as needed to support data, reporting, and implementation efforts.
- Provide data-informed insights and recommendations to the Chief of Staff and senior leadership to support strategic planning, performance management, and organizational decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling participant, program, and organizational information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, evaluation, public administration, social science, business, information systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data management, evaluation, reporting, operations, performance improvement, or a related function.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and experience working with multiple data systems or databases.
- Experience designing reports, dashboards, performance tracking tools, or data collection processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit, education, healthcare, public sector, or human services settings.
- Familiarity with case management or participant data systems.
- Experience with continuous quality improvement, implementation tracking, or outcomes measurement.
- Experience presenting data to non-technical audiences in clear, actionable formats.
- Familiarity with dashboard or business intelligence tools.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- This position is primarily hybrid work environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and keyboards. The role regularly requires prolonged sitting, frequent computer use, and close visual attention to data, reports, and written materials. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting of office materials may be required.
