Job summary

DC Health in Washington, DC is seeking an IT Specialist (Data Lakehouse Architect) to design, document, upgrade, and enhance an enterprise data platform that centrally stores structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data for analysis and decision‑making.

This role requires hands‑on experience with ETL, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, IAM, security controls, and data governance, reporting to the CIO and collaborating with stakeholders across the department.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or 24 semester hours in related fields and experience developing applications or networks.
• Four core competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and document enterprise data models for critical applications and services.
• Upgrade and enhance data lakehouse architecture to support data access, integrity, and performance.
• Lead integration with cloud and on‑prem systems and govern data security and IAM policies.
