Job summary

Insight Enterprise is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join the Data Management team as an Architect I. You will build and maintain robust data pipelines powering AI and analytics, and manage the datalakehouse architecture across Databricks, ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, Databricks expertise, and cloud experience (GCP/Azure). Hybrid work model across hubs, offering growth and promotions within Insight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, building and managing production data pipelines.
• Expertise with Databricks to build and manage a datalakehouse.
• Hands-on experience with data services in GCP and Azure.
• Strong proficiency in building and optimizing ETL processes.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; Java is a plus.
• Experience with Informatica and Power BI for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise datalakehouse architecture with scalability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize the datalakehouse environment, including Databricks.
• Build and manage complex ETL/ELT data pipelines from multiple sources.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring for data assets.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data is available and optimized.
