Job summary

Siege Media is a growing and remote-first GEO agency seeking a Data Journalist to turn surveys, studies, and internal research into clear, engaging, media-ready narratives for world-class clients. You will write and package data-driven content highlighting trends and insights while collaborating with design to add supporting data visualizations.

Requirements include 3+ years in content marketing, digital PR, or journalism, strong editing, attention to detail, and solid project-management skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in content marketing, digital PR, or journalism roles.
• Experience using project management and team collaboration platforms like Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Productive.
• Strong project management skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects while still working effectively.
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Close attention to detail and strong editing skills.
• Proven ability to generate creative ideas that attract attention online.

Responsibilities

• Write and package content that highlights new trends, insights, and/or findings and drives PR performance for clients.
• Transform complex data from surveys, studies, and internal research into clear, engaging, and media-ready narratives.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate supporting data visualizations and graphic design elements.
• Analyze datasets to uncover unique concepts and story angles that will resonate with multiple audiences, including media outlets, clients, and general readers.
• Work cross-functionally with account managers, designers, PR specialists and others to ensure content meets quality, branding, and client objectives.
• Demonstrate the ability to implement feedback from editors, clients, and teammates.
• Ensure accuracy in data interpretation, story framing, and presentation.

• Deep experience with one of our three core verticals: fintech, SaaS, and ecommerce

The salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$65,000.00 DOE. This position is 100% remote and based in the US.
