Job summary

Republic Business Credit, a subsidiary of Renasant Bank, seeks an IT & Data Operations Specialist to provide frontline IT support and help advance data analytics initiatives. This hybrid role is the first point of contact for IT issues and will participate in Snowflake implementation and AI tooling evaluations.

Under the SVP IT & Project Manager, you will ensure employees have the tools and support needed to stay productive while contributing to data governance and security efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years IT experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL and ability to write intermediate queries.
• Familiarity with APIs and aptitude to learn API integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service orientation.
• Genuine curiosity about data, analytics, and AI; eager to learn.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WiFi) and cybersecurity basics.
• Strong ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and applications, diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Set up and maintain employee workstations and IT equipment; manage password resets and access provisioning.
• Monitor systems, triage security incidents, and document phishing and suspicious activity.
• Assist with Snowflake implementation and data platform configuration; ensure data quality and governance.
• Extract, transform, and integrate data from financial platforms using SQL and APIs.
• Support AI tools evaluation and participate in major IT projects and migrations.
