Job summary

Talent Software Services seeks a Business Analyst to enable end-to-end interoperability within the CMS ONC ecosystem. You will translate business needs into data mappings, validate data flows, and support scalable data integrations across clinical and administrative systems.

The role requires 5+ years in data/BA, strong SQL/JSON, and hands-on experience with FHIR R4, HL7, and API-driven workflows. Collaboration with engineering, compliance, and external customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/ data management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst with data engineering, APIs or healthcare data exposure.
• Strong knowledge of ELT, SQL, JSON, APIs and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead ELT pipeline support and ensure data quality across sources and environments.
• Map source data to FHIR R4 resources and validate interoperability workflows.
• Translate business requirements into data specifications, API needs, and workflows.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of ELT pipelines, FHIR resources, and API payloads.
• Engage stakeholders to capture requirements and communicate complex data concepts.
• Develop data governance documents, data dictionaries, and mapping artifacts.
