Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the CMS ONC Interoperability project. This role involves managing and supporting all ELT jobs, the SmileCDR tool, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping. The Senior Business Analyst will also be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ELT Job Support: Manage and support all Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
2. SmileCDR Tool Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the SmileCDR tool, ensuring it meets project requirements.
3. FHIR HL7 Standards: Ensure a thorough understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping to support interoperability.
4. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide solutions.
5. Data Mapping and Transformation: Accurately map and transform data to meet FHIR HL7 standards.
6. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of data pipelines and processes.
7. Documentation: Provide comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
9. Certifications: Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standards.
10. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on data management and interoperability.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ELT processes, FHIR HL7 standards, and data mapping. Experience with SmileCDR or similar tools is a plus.
