Job summary

Countybank in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Deposit Operations Administrator who will manage deposit account setup and ongoing maintenance for both consumer and commercial clients. You will ensure compliance tasks across BSA, Reg D, Reg Q, and related frameworks, while delivering accurate, timely service to internal customers.

The role requires independent work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years banking experience in Deposit Operations preferred.
• Strong working comprehension of Deposit Operations activities and banking compliance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, time management, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain deposit accounts for consumer and commercial clients, including special accounts (SCUTMA, Representative Payee, Power of Attorney, Guardianship, IOLTA, etc.).
• Process maintenance requests with proper authorization and documentation, and manage requests timely.
• Monitor account activity and ensure proper setup per customer expectations and internal guidelines.
• Support compliance functions (BSA, Reg D, Reg DD, Reg Q, etc.) and develop reports as needed.
• Cross-train in Customer Care and serve as a backup for Digital Delivery and related functions.
• Provide superior customer service via telephone to internal customers and escalate issues when needed.
• Stay informed on industry changes and keep bank knowledge current.
