Job summary

Harvard University seeks a Manager of Data Integration to oversee the ETL practice and ensure reliable data access across multiple sources. You will work with developers, infrastructure and product owners to deliver integrated services and maintain Informatica ecosystems.

The role emphasizes designing scalable data flows, optimizing SQL procedures, and building Salesforce integrations to support reporting and analytics in a higher education setting.

Qualifications

• Experience orchestrating and optimizing ETL processes.
• Experience on Salesforce platforms, preferably within the higher education context (Ed Cloud).
• Proficient in SOQL, SOSL, SQL.
• Competency in Web Services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document complex ETL tasks including: Informatica integrations, data synchronizations, mappings, APIs, and OData.
• Oracle SQL procedures, functions, and views. Organize and process information for easy retrieval.
• Salesforce workflows, external objects, and external services for end users’ searching and reporting.
• Load Marketing Cloud data extensions for communications.
• Data Cloud (Data360) Streams, Objects, Models integrations with Salesforce Flows.
• Collaborate with business partners to determine needs and evaluate solutions.
• Monitor Informatica operations and optimize scheduling for balanced service delivery.
• Provide technical direction for system-level integrations and architecture design.
• QA to improve integration development processes.
• Train staff on ETL best practices and integration development.
• Contribute to planning and policy formation.
