Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Manager of Data Integration (MDI) to oversee ETL practices, ensuring robust data access, integration, and utilization across multiple storage sources. The role collaborates with developers, the technical infrastructure team, and product owners to ensure timely delivery of integration services and maintains Informatica implementation.

The MDI will design and optimize complex integration tasks, work with Salesforce platforms, and mentor staff on ETL best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Experience orchestrating and optimizing Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes.
Proficient in SOQL, SOSL, SQL.
Competency in Web Services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and document complex ETL tasks, including Informatica integrations, data synchronizations, mappings, APIs, and OData.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to determine needs and evaluate solutions.
Monitor Informatica daily operations and optimize scheduling for balanced and efficient service delivery.
Provide technical direction in developing and supporting system-level integrations; architecture design and QA.
Troubleshoot integration problems and propose resolutions using data analysis.
