Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer/DevOps Engineer to design and implement data engineering solutions for IC data custodians. You will work in a Linux environment, map data schemas, and transform XML/CSV/JSON data for ingestion into customer repositories.

The role requires TS/SCI, 17 years of SE leadership, and a technical degree, with substitution options for experience. Strong JAVA and Splunk skills are preferred.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with current polygraph required.
17 years of experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Outline, develop and implement data engineering solutions.
Work with Linux environment, data schemas, and structured data (XML, CSV, JSON).
Coordinate ingestion into corporate repositories and document data flows for data routing implementations.
Possess knowledge of JAVA and Splunk; interact with data ontologies and smart data systems.
