Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage Operational Systems and dataflows with Apache NiFi. The role includes reviewing DMRs, migrating flows to the cloud, and supporting cyber defense initiatives.

On-call after hours is required, with a focus on secure, scalable architectures. Ideal candidates have extensive SE experience (20+ years), an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and a strong background in NiFi clusters, Zookeeper, Elasticsearch, and Grafana within DoD or IC environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph is required.
• Minimum 20 years of Systems Engineer experience in large-scale programs.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, or create Dataflow Management Requests (DMRs).
• Design, implement, and migrate dataflows to virtual/cloud environments.
• Provide after-hours on-call support and cyber defense integration.
