Job summary

The University of Alaska is seeking a Research Professional 2 to support reporting on institutional surveys and data requests from leadership, staff, faculty, and the wider university community. You will translate data into actionable information and work with data end-users of varying levels of data literacy.

Based on 1–2 years of research experience, you will contribute to enrollment management, financial aid, tuition and fees analyses, and other university operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, science, business or related field and one year of relevant research experience.
• 1–2 years of research experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, data collection and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support reporting efforts related to institutional surveys and data requests.
• Respond to general inquiries from enrollment management, financial aid and other university areas.
• Translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable information for end-users.
• Collaborate with end-users with varying levels of data comprehension.
