Supermicro is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Procurement to coordinate forecast meetings, generate reports, and support planning initiatives. Strong communication, multitasking, and deadline management are essential.

You will analyze data using Excel, SQL, and BI tools, ensure data accuracy, and help drive forecasting improvements across functions in a dynamic San Jose environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a data analyst, BI, or reporting role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.
• Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards or similar BI tools.
• Demonstrated history of supporting business teams (finance, operations, sales, etc.) with data insights.
• Experience working with large datasets, data cleansing, and data validation.
• Prior work in environments using Microsoft 365 for collaboration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly reports to support forecasting and business review processes.
• Assist in developing and enhancing data management systems to improve forecasting capabilities.
• Maintain and update forecasts on a daily and weekly basis to reflect latest trends and insights.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—from Sales, Project Management, Product Management, and Procurement—to facilitate Sales Forecast meetings.
• Support system enhancements and changes related to operations and data workflows.
• Provide strategic and analytical support to management for organizational planning and decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by applying best practices in data collection, validation, and analysis.
• Monitor internal client and team feedback to identify and recommend process improvements.
