Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. invites an Engineering Intern to support the Data Initiatives Group by applying engineering concepts to accelerate data-driven innovations.

You will engage with operations data, build data hierarchies, and support ML-focused cost and risk reduction projects. The role offers hands-on experience across data engineering, operations, and IT interfaces, with collaboration across stakeholders and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering degree program with a minimum of sophomore-level engineering courses.
• General requirements include self-motivated individuals and involvement in activities outside college studies.

Responsibilities

• Support Data Initiatives Group with data enhancement and standardization for field operations.
• Assist buildout of data hierarchy and standardization within Operations data historian.
• Provide day-to-day engineering and technical support for data initiatives.
• Learn about and review machine learning concepts for cost and risk reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to oversee approved project implementations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Operations Services, and IT personnel.
