EPAM Systems Inc in the United States seeks a Data Governance Technical Consultant with hands-on Informatica IDMC expertise to support our governance implementation and capability development. You will configure IDMC, integrate with SAP/Trino/Power BI, and enable APIs and workflows to strengthen governance processes.

Onboard domains, manage glossaries, CDEs, data ownership, and stewardship workflows, while applying Oil & Gas domain knowledge across Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream data areas.

Competenze

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Governance implementation experience
• Expertise in Informatica IDMC including CDGC
• English proficiency at B2 or higher

We are looking for a Data Governance Technical Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Informatica IDMC and, preferably, an Oil & Gas industry background to support our Data Governance implementation and internal team capability development.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end Data Governance implementation across the organization
• Configure and administer Informatica IDMC, including CDGC, metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, and Data Quality
• Integrate data governance tools with enterprise systems such as SAP, Trino, and Power BI
• Implement APIs and workflow automation to support governance processes
• Onboard entities and domains, manage business glossaries, CDEs, data ownership, stewardship, and governance workflows
• Apply Oil & Gas domain knowledge across Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream data areas
• Deliver hands-on implementation support to internal teams
• Conduct technical workshops and mentoring sessions for internal employees
• Prepare technical documentation to support knowledge transfer and long-term capability development

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Governance implementation and technical consulting
• Expertise in Informatica IDMC, including configuration, administration, and CDGC
• Proficiency in metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, and Data Quality implementation
• Skills in integrating governance platforms with SAP, Trino, and Power BI
• Background in working with enterprise data platforms, APIs, and workflow automation
• Competency in entity/domain onboarding, business glossary, and CDE management
• Understanding of data ownership, stewardship, and governance workflow design
• Capability to deliver knowledge transfer through workshops, mentoring, and documentation
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Industry experience in the Oil & Gas sector
• Familiarity with Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream data domains
• Knowledge of PPDM and relevant Oil & Gas industry data standards
